Hyde Park Towers provides fulltime building management services to ensure the safe and efficient management of the building. The Building Manager serves as an agent of the Owners Corporation and oversees all operational aspects of the building and the effective management of facilities for the benefit of owners and residents.

Hyde Park Towers is managed as a community of owners and residents whose needs and concerns are addressed in the most responsive way to ensure the highest possible standard of living. The essential aims of management are to create a safe and pleasant
place in which to live and to enhance the value of properties in the building.

Photocopying Services PDF Print E-mail
A photocopying and fax service is available from the Building Manager’s Office. A fee of 10 cents per page for photocopies and 20 cents per page for faxes applies.
 
Justice of the Peace (JP) PDF Print E-mail
The Building Manager is a registered Justice of the Peace and is available to assist residents in verifying documents and witnessing signatures. There is no charge for this service.
 
Requirements for Alteration to Apartments PDF Print E-mail
Owners must have consent from the Owners Corporation to do building works or alterations that will affect common property in anyway such as installing timber or tiled floors. Consent is not required to do minor work such as hanging pictures on walls, installing ceiling down lights or installing wardrobes. Before undertaking any work whatsoever it is essential to discuss your plans with the Building Manager who will advise what approvals are required.
 
Work Being Carried Out In The Building PDF Print E-mail
Before commencing any work in the building, you must have written approval from The Executive Committee. You must also comply with time and noise restrictions. There are certain by-laws that apply to any work being carried out in the building (By-laws 6, 27, 30 and 35). A check list is available from the Building Manager's office. Booking The Lifts PDF Print E-mail
Removal activities are permitted between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm Monday to Saturday and 9am and 4pm on Sunday. All such activities must be booked 24hours in advance through security so that protective coverings can be placed in the lift. A non-refundable bond of $55 is required for the use of the lifts and a $200 refundable security bond must be paid before access is granted. The bond will be refunded in full within 48 hours subject to a satisfactory inspection of the common property by management to ensure that no damage has been caused.
 
Deliveries PDF Print E-mail
Any deliveries of large items that will interfere with the normal operation of the lifts, must be booked through security. Security will be happy to help you, but you must give them as much notice as possible. If you would like security to take delivery of a parcel or item for you, please let them know at least 12 hours in advance. All care will be taken, but security and HPT cannot be responsible for any loss.
