What does Hyde Park Towers offer?

Hyde Park Towers' residents enjoy excellent recreational facilities including a heated pool, spa and sauna and a gymnasium fitted out with the latest state-of-the-art equipment including a multi station machine, treadmill, bike, cross country walker, rowing machine, leg press and free weights.

The Recreation Centre is located on Level 2 and is open to residents and their guests between the hours of 5:00am and 11:00pm.

Pool and Spa

Pool and Spa

The pool and a spa are located on the second level with access through the car park and are open for use by residents and their guests between the hours of 5:00am and 11:00pm.

Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

By-Law 25 governs the use of the pool and spa and residents are requested to read and comply with the By-Law.

Gymnasium

A modern and fully equipped air conditioned gymnasium is availabel for use by residents and their guests between the hours of 5:00am and 11:00pm. Children under 12 years are not permitted in the gym.

• Pro Leg/Calf Press
• 1-20kg Dumbbell Set
• Rowing Machine

Height limit is 2 metres.

Garage

Car parking is restricted to residents only and spaces cannot be leased to persons who do not reside permanently in the building. This is a City of Sydney regulation.

Car spaces are allocated to lots and are clearly marked and parking is only permitted in designated spots. Vehicular access to the carpark is via Nithsdale Street and authorised residents are provided with a remote control unit on the payment of a $50 non-refundable.

Pedestrian access through the car park roller shutter door is not permitted for safety reasons. Residents who wish to rent their car space or allow another resident to use the car space must notify the Security Manager in writing of such an arrangement.

Height limit is 2 metres. Refer to By-Law 29.

Waste Management

Hyde Park Towers has an environmentally friendly waste management polcy with a strong emphasis on recycling.

Garbage rooms are located on all residential floors and recycling bins are provided for paper/cardboard, plastic and glass.

A regular Council pickup service is provided for the disposal of large household items, furniture and whitegoods. Please see the Building Manager for details. Refer to By-Law 14.

Pets

Residents are permitted to keep a cat, a small dog (under 12kg), small caged birds or fish in a secure aquarium. Residents must first notify the Building Manager that an animal is being kept in their apartment and ensure that the pet does not interfere with the peace and enjoyment of other residents. Pets must be carried when on common property and owners must take any action necessary to clea and repair all areas of the lot or common property that are soiled or damaged by the animal. Refer to By-Law 18.
